About the courses
How Long Does The Online Teacher Training Course Take?
Our online Yoga Teacher Training Courses must be completed within 12 months from the date of enrolment. It is possible to complete the course in less time; it entirely depends upon your personal circumstances, the amount of time you have available to study and your work and family commitments. We find that students are able to complete the course steadily in the allocated time frame with approximately 5 hours of study per week, but many students are able to complete the course more rapidly if they have additional time to devote to study. We realise that sometimes life intervenes with exceptional circumstances, so an extension will usually be granted on request however we levy a fee of £100 (€100, $100) to extend the completion period.

What Does The Course Consist Of?
When you purchase the course, you will receive access to your study materials so you are able to get started right away. The Pregnancy course consists of 6 fully illustrated modules plus details of the required assignments, submission guidelines and marking criteria. The Postnatal and Fertility course consists of 3 fully illustrated modules plus details of the required assignments, submission guidelines and marking criteria. The course material also contains recommended reading suggestions and video material. We recommend the purchase of some textbooks, and most students enjoy purchasing a few, however the course is entirely self-contained and covers everything you need to complete your study and become a Fertility / Pregnancy or Postnatal / Mum & Baby Yoga Teacher.

English Is Not My 1st Language – Can I Still Take The Course?
If your English comprehension is at an upper intermediate or advanced level, you will be able to understand the course material. Test papers are marked according to content, not English grammar. If your written English has mistakes that cause misunderstanding, then your level isn’t high enough.
I’m not based in the UK - can I study with allwoman?
Allwoman is a global teacher trainer, welcoming students from all over the world. However, the course materials are in English so your English comprehension will need to be at an upper intermediate or advanced level.

Is There A Payment Plan Option To Spread The Cost?
We are happy to say that our merchant Paypal is now offering ‘PayPal Credit’ as a financing option for our allwoman courses.
It is similar to a personal line of credit built into your PayPal account, which gives you up to 4 months interest free to pay for your purchase (fees will apply after this time if you need longer to pay the debt). This way you can start one of our courses today without having to immediately pay in full.
To take advantage of PayPal Credit, here’s what you do next:
- Press “Buy Now” then during checkout for your allwoman course select the PayPal Credit Button
- If you DO NOT yet have a PayPal account, you are still in the right spot (“Use PayPal credit and create a PayPal account”). If you already have a PayPal account, click the “Log in to PayPal to use PayPal Credit” link.
- Answer a few basic questions and accept the terms. You’ll usually receive an immediate response.
- Look for an Email with your PayPal credit statement.
Once you complete your payment, your PayPal Credit balance will display inside of your PayPal account. Paying part or all of your balance is made by as transferring funds from your PayPal account to PayPal Credit. Can I Gain Insurance To Teach After Completing The Course?
Yes. Our online training courses are insurable by DSC STRAND, an insurance scheme especially designed for yoga teachers of all traditions and their specialist needs, underwritten by Lloyds, and the largest independent group policy available on the market for yoga teachers. You’ll find some suggestions for insurance companies below, however most students find it’s best value to add the extra cover onto their current policy.

Tell Me More About Continuous Professional Development (Cpd) And Continuing Education (Ce)
CPD/CE is an important aspect of a yoga teacher’s lifelong journey. This course can provide CPD/CE credits, depending upon which Yoga registration body you are registered with. For example, if you are registered with Yoga Alliance US, you can make a note of the hours you spend studying for your certificate, and count this as part of your ‘non-contact CE’ requirement. As there are many different registration bodies, all with differing requirements, we would advise you to check how to record and credit your study hours.
Who Are ‘accreditation’ Bodies And Are You Accredited?
We are a little sceptical of associating allwoman too closely with an accreditation body, as we are required to provide them with a fee then they will require your contact details to encourage you to pay them a fee to give us a both a badge and say we are both ‘good enough’. Here at allwoman we prefer to set our own high standards and rely on detailed feedback from our students who are now out there teaching dedicated classes as a result of our training.
